Now that's a result! 397 New Nurses!!
Well due to work and 2 little hockey players , I didn't get a chance to post since my first effort..but I finally got around to it tonight. What a week so far! Today the New Sask Party Government announced that in keeping with thier promise to hire 800 more nurses over the course of thier mandate, they have hired 297 nurses from thier recruiting trip to the Phillipines and have added 100 more from the province. WOW!!! This is a clear victory for the government...4 months and halfway home! Great Job!! Former Premier Calvert mentioned that this legislative session would be about results for the people of Saskatchewan and here is one!!! 1/2 way home in 4 months...not 4 years!

Hola!!!
Well I always read enough of them(blogs that is)..figures I'd start one!! My lone reader..I live in Moose Jaw, SK. Moose Jaw is without a doubt, one of the most messed up small cities in Canada! We have the benefit of a great quality of life but seem content to just be a retirement town with a tourism twist. Me? I am a 40 year old father of 3 (11, 8,and 6..never a dull moment), I graduated from SIAST in 1993 as a commuting student and vowed never to return to Moose Jaw after my last final ( I was a Regina boy..it was a dead zone in Moose Jaw to say the least..thanx Don Mitchell!!lol). After a few years..a women who can actually tolerate me...and at the time 2 babies, I considered a job offer in this city and decided to make it my home. Now I have been here for 9 years, and love this city for its warmth and potential.
The last few months have seen a lot of changes in this province ( and oh yes.. I among the majority of voters enjoyed the end of NDP "leadership"), and I am looking forward to seeing this province prosper after alot of stagnation. Moose Jaw I hope will not be left behind!! I welcome your thoughts...I hope my ideas and writings sponsor debate and hopefully I can let whomever reads this into the lives of myself and my family.
